Does the regulation apply to exports or only to imports?
The law is quite clear in some respects, but it leaves some other issues a bit fuzzy and difficult to understand. If anyone has clear ideas and a precise answer, without a doubt, I would like to meet them. Thanks for the help. I’m thrilled to connect with others with like-minded interests.

The Regulation extends to both exports and imports. For exports, operators must incorporate the due diligence statement’s reference number into their export declaration. Additionally, exporters utilizing commodities already scrutinized under a due diligence statement may benefit from simplifications outlined in Article 4 (pertaining to EU-produced goods).
