No exceptions apply to the geolocation traceability requirement. Operators must evaluate supply chain complexity and the potential for Regulation circumvention or mixing with products from unknown or high-risk countries (Art. 13). If operators uncover information suggesting non-compliance or Regulation circumvention, they must fulfill obligations under Articles 10 and 11 and promptly notify competent authorities.
